„Last Wednesday we paid a visit to the beloved Albertina Museum, one of the most relevant art havens in our city. The goal was to get to know new artists from all over the world and to reflect on transcendental topics we usually only find in art.
Our students were assigned one random piece of the exposition, which they needed to find, photograph and describe for the rest of us. For some hours, one could hear camera shutters, thoughtful sighs and pencils at work in every corner of the Albertina. Many questions were floating in the room, such as “how come an object as simple as a lemon has been represented in so many different ways?” or “did these artists feel the same way we do nowadays?”.
At noon, while enjoying a friendly picnic at the neighboring Burggarten, we shared our impressions. Some questions were unanimously answered, others provoked further debating or even brought up new inquiries. We were delighted to observe so many cultural exchanges in only one day, and will probably reflect on them for a very long time.” 😊
